I painted this as an attempt to describe the feeling you get when confronted with the immensity of nature and how little we are in the world. Sonder is an empathetic word defined as the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own. I wanted to capture a mix of emotions to portray these feelings of being such a small part of the world we live in.
